Playing Catch Up...

Well, before Halloween gets here and I'm waaaaay behind, here's a "catch up" post from the happenings this month so far...

Beginnings of a Bar-b-q! When I took the kids to my parents a few weeks ago it allowed Scott to begin on a project he has been anxiously awaiting...a built in bar-b-q.  It's in progress still, but coming along nicely. More to post on that as it gets closer to finish!

One of their favorite things to do together....build!

Abigail's favorite thing, to knock it down, BOOM! Looks like this time Cody is on-board with the knocking down....that's not always the case...

Funny, how much fun this Pier One trunk has brought these two:) I have had this since before I knew Scott.  It was my coffee table in my old apartment....Scott has hated dragging it from place to place for me, always asking "do you still want this, and where is this gonna fit?" Hahaha, now he just laughs about it...we often find Cody sitting in it with all the blankets, watching cartoon:s:)

Our caterpillar became a moth! Another successful hatch!

Getting Jake a nice bath before the weather changes and the water gets too cold...I know what your gonna say, but he's spoiled:)

This girl's got guts! She's a little too brave for my liking, but of course Daddy will always indulge the little dare-devil:) Just days ago she discovered the slide, now she shakes her head "no" when you try to hold on to her in any way on the way down....yikes! Were in trouble!

Since the water is getting too cold to swim in the pool, Abigail is thinking of new ways to keep the swimsuit

So Cody likes to eat his morning cereal here like this (see yet another use for this Pier One trunk:) And of course Abigail wants to do everything he does, so why not eat her Mac'N'Cheese here????
