Mom here is the fabric # 400018398449 if you go to your Joann's to check it out. We need 157 " so 5 yards should do it. Let me know if you find a bolt that has all 5 yards on it. I'm going to go back to our Joann's this week to see how much they have on their bolt. Just look for the top fabric, they have plenty of the stripe pattern at ours.

Snow in Payson

Today we decided to venture up to Payson and Strawberry to play in the snow that was left from the big storms this past week. We found a little and Cody was happy (as he doesn't know that the ground can actually be COVERED in this magical white stuff). However, he somehow automatically knew how to make a snow angel and instantly dropped to the ground to make one the 1st patch of snow we come too:) We had an awesome time and plan to go back when another storm goes through...

A fun day at the park...

Cody got a Radio Flyer Big Wheel for Christmas so we headed out to the park for a test drive:) Check out the video below...
Climbing with Daddy

Cody spotted some guys playing soccer down on the field and just walks right over to join in the game. These guys were so cool, they took him right in kicking the ball to him, letting him shoot some goals and teaching him some fancy foot work. It was priceless to sit back and watch!

Cody found out that going down the hills required a lot less peddling effort....and was super fun too!

Christmas Videos

Grandma Judy and Grandpa Dell delivered Cody a special stocking that Santa brought to their house for him.....lots of cool stuff it it....including this lovely duck whistle:)

Santa came! What he only ate 1/2 the cookie! But he liked the milk!

Great Nana GG sent Cody a gift card for Christmas and we used it to purchase a present Cody has been asking for lately...a Color Fusion Glow Magna Doodle....THANKS NANA GG!

And you can't forget the highlight gift...The Touch and Brush! Have you seen the infomercials for this? Hilarious!

Santa...I mean NO Santa pictures...

Momma broke out a bribe...lolipop...got a smile for now, but still couldn't get the Santa picture...Oh well:)

Surprise! It's really a GIRL!

So we went for our ultrasound at our docs yesterday and got some crazy, but exciting news that is making us regroup and think PINK! Let's back up a bit......for all who know me, you know my impatience and OCDness. At 15 weeks I just could not wait till my Dec apt. to find out the sex of the baby so I made an apt. at a private ultrasound place to find out early (no really a recommendation I would make now:) But we got a a great DVD of the baby and some cool 3D picts. so all in all not that bad...........BUT, they told us we were having a boy.............AND in fact WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!!!

At our ultrasound yesterday it was clear as a bell that this not so shy boy we thought we were having is indeed, without a glimmer of a doubt A GIRL!!!!!

Here's how that went....
Ultrasound Tech: Do you want to know the sex? (we didn't tell her we had the other ultrasound not wanting to sway anything and just see what she saw...
Us: YES
Tech: It's a GIRL
Us: WHAT
Us: Silent....
Tech: Are you happy?
Us: Yes, just shocked....we tell her about the other ultrasound
Tech: Well let me just assure you there are no questions about this...don't think oh maybe it is a boy even so.....this is a GIRL, no doubts about that...
Me: crying....I really don't know why?? Shock, hormones....what do we tell Cody now? He thinks he is having a brother....more crying......
Us: Call our parents...Are you sitting down? Carter is a GIRL!
Parents: WHAT....followed by screams of excitement:)

Us: Go to Babies R US to register, all the way there saying okay this will not be a spoiled princess, pink girl.....yes totally agree with each other
Us at Babies R US: Scan the pink one, don't you want the pink one of those? hahahahahaha
But, we are still holding true on the princess, this girl may be spoiled:) But will not ever go by princess...we clear on that grandparents??? :)

So there you have it! A crazy and exciting Monday where we find out our boy is indeed a GIRL! No wonder I was soooooooo sick!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Grammy and Pappy sent a cool card that recorded their voices and played the song "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Scott had to go downstairs to record Cody (who took his card to bed) and video him as he was going to town singing the tune:)

Christmas Tree

Picking out our Christmas Tree at Target...not exactly the Christmas Vacation idea of going through the snow and getting your own tree out of the woods (maybe next year). And not the childhood memories of cutting down our tree at our own Christmas tree farm, but never the less a little rain, cold weather, and getting to watch the guy use a chainsaw...Cody had a great time!

Such a little helper...such a little Angel:)

Christmas Decorating...

Well, it's Dec 1st and to help us count down to Christmas Grammy got Cody an advent calendar with chocolate behind the doors....

I think he likes it! He kept saying yummy to my tummy!

Cody got his own tree for his room this year too. And he decorated it all on his own.

He was very proud of himself!

Last night was a busy one, all that decorating, chocolate, setting up a train...

And Cody's 1st experience with Hot Chocolate! I would say he liked that too:)
