1st Ultrasound

Last Weds we had our 1st ultrasound..Cody was our official photographer:) I have to say he did a great job, although he was interested in capturing the moment...being in the moment (or to a 3 year old, this is a moment) was another story. He was completely uninterested in talk about a baby...that he still denies is in mommy's tummy (where food goes). He knows where the baby's room is and in general is excited about having a baby in the house (like PBS show "Sid the Science Kid" who has a baby brother Zeek:) but still having a hard time grasping the wear-abouts of the mysterious baby.....

Bobo Has Hair

Grammy and Pappy came for a quick visit this past weekend and brought Cody this cool Bobo head that grows grass for hair (kind of like a chi-pet). Well today hair started to sprout, Cody was so excited and had to call Grammy ASAp to tell her!

We had our first doctors appointment today and they estimated me at 8 weeks and 3 day....yeah further along then I thought which means this morning (or should I say all day) sickness is closer to being over than I thought:) Our first ultrasound in 2 weeks, pictures to follow:)

A Concert by Cody

So Cody watched a new cartoon yesterday on PBS "Dinosaur Train" and the episode was about these dinosaurs using their crest to make music and they put on a concert for the other dinosaurs. Soon after Cody grabs Scott and I and sits us on the dining room chairs proclaiming that he is going to put on a "concert." HILARIOUS! There's like 13 other videos, but I had to narrow it down:)

This one summarizes our trip to San Diego Wild Animal Park (months ago) when we stopped for gas...we were in the car and Pappy was riding the motorcycle. Grammy got chips and shared them with Cody. Funny the things kids remember....
