Our beatifully decorated tree..

Decorating a tree with a 7 month old (who was due for bedtime anytime) and a 4 year old was definitely interesting....a few broken ornaments (okay one by me and one by Cody), a unique application of ribbon and voila, there you have it, the Wilcox Christmas Tree.

THE Christmas Tree..

For a girl who grew up with her Dad owning a Christmas Tree Farm it's a little hard to go to Home Depot to buy one (few more years and we'll Chevy Chase it and go somewhere in the boondock forest and cut down our own), but for now Home Depot it is. So amazingly for that history...and the ocd'ness in me...the 1st tree Scott picks up, yep that's the one:) And to top it all off a Noble...I know, I know Dad I have always been a Douglas kind of girl, but what can I say, the light was shining on it...hahaha
That's the one!
Not exactly the price of OUR tree, but pretty close...okay that's one thing I like about buying it at Home Depot:)

A little photo-op...Cody was anxious to get back to climbing on the bags of potting soil:)

Big helper...

And here is the Chevy Chase picture (minus us digging it out of the ground ourselves), but the tree on the suburban and Abigail in a Home Depot cart....classic!

*Disclaimer....if you haven't watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, watch it! It's like the Christmas instruction booklet for my family (Reynolds side, but definitely influencing the Wilcox)...hence all the references

Cute hat and some funny sounds:)

See what I mean....sooooooooo cute!

Too bad because the camera interrupts her, she gets so distracted! Usually she is gibber jabbering away...I had to coax her a little for this video, which again usually she will mimic me...this time she just busts out laughing...silly little girl:)

Christmas Decorations...

Just found Abigail's stocking...still looking for her stocking holder...don't feel left out little girl:) I need to snap a picture of their rooms to post as well....Cody's tree is up in his room and snowman flannel sheets are on. Abigail has a tree too and her Christmas blanket on her bed...will get flannel ones (saw some cute pink snowmen ones at Target) for her big girl bed next year. Love to all! Enjoy the season! And remember Jesus is the reason!

Official Santa Picture...screams and all...

Hahahaha! So much for that "perfect" 1st Santa picture for Abigail that I envisioned:)
Cody was like "ah man, can't I just go back and sit on those ATV's?" And Abigail was not having any part of this Santa thing! Poor Santa looks like he has been dealing with this situation too many times already today:)
