Easter Eggs, Easter Cookies and Birthday Celebration!?

Well, we sure are taking the cake for squeezing in all sorts of unrelated things into one weekend! This past weekend we went to Grammy and Pappy's for Easter where we colored eggs...searched for eggs, made cookies...ate cookies, celebrated the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior...and celebrated an early birthday for Cody at Chuck E Cheese. We were all a little exhausted (and coming down from a sugar high:), but had an absolute blast! Thanks again Grammy and Pappy for a great weekend...and the royal treatment:)

I'm a BIG BOY Now!

Oh ya, 2 thumbs up our little man is fully potty trained (no potty chairs even....either regular potty or the urinal...yes I said urinal). We are going on the third week of potty training bliss! NO MORE DIAPERS! Cody wears big boy underwear all day with no accidents (except the one instance outside of Fresh and Easy when he dropped his pants next to the rocks in the parking lot and I had to make a break for it to the bathroom while he mooned the whole store) hahahaha I'll tell this story to him one day:) Dry through the night too.....beautiful!!!!

Funny moment....were watching PBS when a commercial comes on with kids answering the question "who do you love?" I bust out the camera (with video mode...Cody doesn't get that for the videos "cheese" is not required:) and ask Cody the same question....

Chandler Ostrich Festival

Grammy came this week and of course we had to take her to the annual Ostrich Festival! We had a blast! Cody had ice cream:) And Scott even found his "true" parents:)

Valentine's Weekend

This Valentine's weekend we all (us, and Grammy and Pappy too) went to Nana and Papa's house in Lake Havasu for an awesome weekend of fireworks (all the big pyrotechnics come here each year to shoot off test fireworks and prepare for July....it's 5 nights of 4-6 hours of fireworks...totally amazing! We made a gingerbread house, yes you read that correct. Grammy got one to do with Cody during Christmas, but we didn't get to make it....she brought it with her and yes we did it this weekend...I spared you the pictures of me pouring frosting in my mouth from the frosting bag (thanks for catching those moments dad). We also visited a cool swapmeet and played in the desert...we had a blast! I can't believe I forgot my camera this weekend!!!! So the few pictures I have to share I got off my dad's camera.
